Our story
A small crew, on purpose.
Bereshit Landscaping was founded on a simple idea: keep the client list small enough that every property gets the same attention week after week. No revolving crews, no rushed visits, no maintenance that only looks good the day it was done.
We stripe lawns by hand, cut every bed edge with a spade, and choose plants for how they'll look in five years — not five months. It's slower to grow this way, and it's the only way we know how to work.
Today we care for residential properties across Fairfield County, from foundation beds and weekly mowing to hillside stabilization and full seasonal calendars.
Mission
To treat every landscape like it will be seen twice — from the sidewalk, and up close.
We aim to be the crew a homeowner recommends without hesitation: on time, in uniform, with the right tools, leaving the property cleaner than we found it.

We grow slowly and only when we can add crew without lowering our bar. A property under our care should feel effortless to its owners — because we do the effort.
